BTG presently operates three FPBO production plants in the Netherlands, Finland, and Sweden. The synergistic efforts of these industry titans are projected to result in a bioMSAR emulsion product, which could be engine-test-ready within a year.
The Quadrise Emission Reduction Technologies
Quadrise’s patented MSAR technology specializes in emulsifying bunker fuels with water to generate fuel with significantly lower emissions by mass. In tandem with this, the company’s bioMSAR process utilizes a similar concept, incorporating bio-feedstocks to further reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Quadrise’s alliance with BTG Bioliquids exemplifies an exciting advancement in biofuel development.
