Innovative Partnership Unleashed
Quadrise, a renowned emulsion fuels company, has secured a lucrative deal for the implementation of its groundbreaking processes at a heavy oil production facility in Utah. The agreement, formed with Valkor Technologies, will incorporate both Quadrise’s MSAR and bioMSAR processes, as announced in the company’s statement on Monday.
The collaboration, spanning a minimum of two years, involves Quadrise offering a multitude of assistance, including engineering and process design, commissioning services, site operations, compliance support, and project development. The partnership aims to achieve a minimum MSAR production capacity of 40 metric tons per hour.
Decarbonization and Quadrise’s Vision
Quadrise CEO Jason Miles expressed his excitement about this new chapter of collaboration and the potential to drive decarbonization in various industries. Miles highlighted the production of low sulfur, lower carbon MSAR, and bioMSAR fuels as a compelling solution for clients across industrial and marine sectors, in line with the rapidly advancing pace of decarbonization.
Embracing Quadrise’s MSAR Technology
MSAR technology is at the core of Quadrise’s plans to revolutionize the fuel industry. This method involves emulsifying bunker fuels with water, resulting in a fuel with lower emissions per unit mass. Quadrise’s MSAR technology presents a compelling solution to mitigate the environmental impact of traditional fuels.
Introducing bioMSAR: A Champion for Greener Fuels
Expanding upon its MSAR technology, Quadrise has developed the bioMSAR process, which incorporates bio-feedstocks for additional greenhouse gas (GHG) savings. This innovative approach emphasizes the company’s commitment to advancing environmentally responsible energy solutions.
The bond between Quadrise and Valkor Technologies is an exceptional example of how collaboration in the energy sector can lead to groundbreaking advancements. As the partnership unfolds, it promises to yield cleaner, greener fuel solutions for industries striving to reduce their carbon footprint.
