After granting full access to independent researchers from Johns Hopkins University, Lloyd’s admitted their past indiscretions and pledged an astonishing $50 million as compensation for their involvement in the ill-famed business. The records, exclusive to the Lloyd’s archive, proved to be a sufficient admission of their part in the historical tragedy.
